Inspired by her colorful hometown of New Orleans, Wendy became drawn to artistic expression at an early age. This artistic expression originally channeled through painting was later applied to the art of creating a flawless face. Best known for her unique color combinations along the ability to achieve a perfect complexion, she works across all categories of the beauty industry including advertising, editorial, runway, television and video. After going to Paris to study with MAKE UP FOR EVER, she was inspired to begin teaching classes and various demonstrations around New York area.

Since moving to New York in 2001, she has had published editorials in magazines such as Harper's Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Self, Nylon, InStyle and Flaunt. She has frequently contributed to several online beauty sites including Ivillage.com. Wendy continues to expand her knowledge by constantly challenging herself with new and exciting ventures.
