With her tenacious attitude and love of make up, DeShawn's ability to adapt from corporate America to make up artistry was effortless. Making the leap to her creative side, she has successfully been working as a freelance make up artist for the past six years.

Her work has appeared in over 100 fashion magazines and she spends her time working on editorials, TV, and with celebrities as well as teaching and lecturing nationally on the topic of the beauty business. DeShawn is a freelancing New Yorker who enjoys every moment that she is able to paint a face.
