After 25 years of loyal support from freelance make up artists around the globe, brand Creator and Artistic Director, Dany Sanz is giving back to the community with the creation of the MAKE UP FOR EVER ALLIANCE.

The MAKE UP FOR EVER ALLIANCE is devoted to securing paid jobs for freelance make up artists in the U.S.

Comprised of highly skilled and passionate artists that surpass the talent of many, the MAKE UP FOR EVER ALLIANCE is equal to none with expertise that covers every aspect of the make up industry. From fashion runway and Hollywood red carpet to stage make up and special effects, each member of the MAKE UP FOR EVER ALLIANCE is highly skilled in make up artistry and brings unique qualities to the group.

ALLIANCE artists will be available for hire to clients such as film, TV and theatre production companies, fashion and beauty editors, advertising agencies and celebrities. MAKE UP FOR EVER will bring the resources needed to launch and develop this new initiative and act as a key client of the ALLIANCE.

Paris-based Creator and Artistic Director, Dany Sanz, created MAKE UP FOR EVER in 1984. Her objective: to develop an all-encompassing line for show-business professionals, with every product, texture, and color needed to achieve any effect a make up artist's heart could desire. Dany's work with film make up artists showed a need for products to recreate visual effects such as wounds or burns, and her experience with make up used for the ballet, opera, and open-air theater necessitated long-lasting, stable products with enough pigment to be seen from afar. The knowledge she gained from this work helped her create a line of truly professional products, including special effects make up and waterproof formulas. And of course these professional concepts are easily applied to fashion shows, where MAKE UP FOR EVER often gives conceptual and backstage direction.

Shortly after developing the line, Dany opened the first MAKE UP FOR EVER boutique at 5 rue la Boétie in Paris. The store serves as a studio and workshop, where every bit of feedback from fellow artists goes into refining and perfecting the MAKE UP FOR EVER products. Once MAKE UP FOR EVER was established and growing, Dany took the art of make up a step further. To share her know-how and passion with the make up artists of the future, she decided to open up her own school – and so in October 2002, the MAKE UP FOR EVER ACADEMY was born.

Dany Sanz started out simply filling a niche and fulfilling a passion, never suspecting that her creation would become a make up artist cult brand. But by honoring the history of her art and investing in the future, Dany doesn't just make great make up for now, she creates MAKE UP FOR EVER.

Lottie was born and raised in Southern California. From an early age, she displayed a strong creative flair for art and self expression.

Upon completing an education in graphic design, she moved to London, England and quickly found work on a number of cutting edge projects. Breaking away from design a few years later, Lottie moved into what she'd consider her true calling. The world of make up was a simple transition, based upon her strong understanding of light, color, and form. Combined with precise application and attention to detail, Lottie's flawless results got her noticed.

Lottie has keyed shows in New York and Los Angeles as well as worked on top shows in Paris and continues to freelance for print and advertising in the US. Clients include Guess?, Versace, Orly, MAKE UP FOR EVER, Bulga, Rafe NY, Target, Carlos Campos, and Vanity Fair.
